Tesla Model 3 Numbers Revealed Ahead of Q1 End

Only a few more days to go until the Q1 is over and Tesla is trying to get as close to the 2,500 Model 3 cars made per week as possible. Something Elon Musk had promised during the 2017 Q4 report and media Q&A session. Apparently, an internal email went out from Tesla’s Senior VP of Engineering to his employees disclosing the current production rate of a little over 200 cars per day which is not good since it’s still about 1,000 units per week short of the 2,500 goal.

Q1 report could be another blow to Tesla’s already bad week with the NTSB diving into the Model X crash in Mountain View, CA which resulted in its driver’s death and the TSLA stock dropping to a year low on many speculations that Tesla is nearing some financial trouble if they can’t ramp up the production soon.
